I was hoping the weather would hold out and I'd get another sunny Seattle day for my shoot with Robynne this past weekend. But alas, it was fickle and uncooperative... and rainy. Thankfully Robynne has an absolutely beautiful home that provided all the gorgeous light that we needed for the shoot. And it was safe from the rain, hooray!
Here are a few preview shots from our afternoon session. We also got to sneak in a few of Robynne with her absolutely fantastic and gorgeous kids. Aren't they the cutest?! (ps. we even got a few shots of their cute little dog. Adorable!).

Fun Seattle Headshot Session!
I spent a few incredible hours this past Sunday laughing, drinking coffee and having some picture fun with the crazy beautiful and hilarious Kinsey L. She braved the cold Seattle weather and was the perfect partner for going on a photo adventure around Georgetown and it's wild ways. Side note: this little Seattle gem is full of personality and chicness. It's Brooklyn meets Seattle. Record stores and exposed brick buildings and funky coffee shops all within a few blocks of each other. Yes please.
So I don't know how it keeps happening that the most incredible clients keep coming my way, but I never want it to end. Ever. I don't think I could have wished for a better client than Kinsey. As soon as we met for the shoot, she was ready to go. On her A-game. And the pictures show it! She's also an absolute natural, this girl knows how to work a camera! She was giving me top model in a serious way! Loved it!
Beautiful? Check. Spunky? Mmhmm. Hilarious? Duh. World, meet Kinsey. This girl is just ooooozing with talent and bursting with life. I mean, you can just tell she's going places. Look at her! Ugh, I'm gushing.

smiling at the sun
I've been trying to take some pictures of the spectacular sunrise/sunsets that we've been seeing in Seattle these past few days, but it has been challenging to be in the right place at the right time. Also every time I see one, I always opt to smile contently and breathe deeply rather than reach for my camera. And when I do take a picture, I'm always unsatisfied with them because they don't quite do justice to the beauty of these moments. Phew, that was a lot! You can see why there's been a delay in showing you these :)
I'm also beginning to believe that that whole "it rains all the time" thing people tell you about Seattle is a total lie and trick to keep people from overcrowding this gorgeous town. We've seen 95% sunshine and 5% clouds in the past months. I have been completely spoiled by all these sunny days!
Okay, well despite my not being 100% satisfied with these shots, I thought I'd share anyway so you could see a bit of what I see. Enjoy and happy December!

Meet Heather F., Surf superstar!
The young surfer Heather Faustin is bursting onto the Hawaii surf scene, having already won several titles and picking up a few sponsors along the way. She even attempted to give me some surf lessons - I'm nowhere near her pro level but I loved having a great teacher for the day! Here are some lifestyle shots we did this past week in Honolulu. GOOD LUCK, Heather! Wishing you continued success in your very bright future!
