I'm going to try and be better at blogging about my shoots closer the actual shoot date. Starting with shoots from this new year of 2010. So here we go!
I'd like to introduce you to the very beautiful Catherine. Remember this face because she is going to be a star! She was willing and brave enough to do headshots in with me in the dead of January. She braved 20ยบ weather (colder with the wind factored in), in hardly enough layers for a wintery day. And had a smile on her face the whole time! WAS SO EASY AND FUN TO WORK WITH! I was concerned that a cold day would make it for a tough day of shooting, but Catherine was such a pro! Who said you can't take great outdoor shots in the winter!
ps. quick story. the only downside to the day was towards the end of our shoot, when a woman decided she would walk up to me (while I was shooting, camera-to-face) and give me direction on lighting. I just stared at her blankly and in response to my blank stare, she goes "I know all about lighting. I'm a photographer.".... REALLY? Cause I think professionals wouldn't walk into someone else's shoot and, in front of a client, start giving them direction! ps. this was the shot I was getting while she was telling me my light was all wrong..... mmmhmmm
