The Big Move. (Seattle, here I come!)

I haven't blogged in a little bit and for that I apologize. Though I promise, it was with good reason that I took a brief pause. I have been doing my best to coordinate many, many different tasks all at the same time, and the time has finally come for the most important of these to be officially and publicly revealed.

In 4 weeks I'll be packing my bags, saying a fond farewell to this city that has been my home for the last 6 years and starting my next new adventure. And oh what an adventure it will be! Myself along with my most wonderful sister are relocating out west to the great city of Seattle.

We're hitting the open road and doing something crazy and it feels great. No, better than great, it feels exhilarating.

We've never been to Seattle, don't have any immediate jobs waiting for us and as of today, don't have an apartment. BUT what we do have is a kick-ass road trip play-list ready to go!!

We also have a fierce determination and commitment to do great things and be great people, and we have our instincts telling us that now is the time for this, that this is the right step to take. But most importantly - We have each other.

I can't wait for this new adventure and to see where life takes us both. My business isn't going away - I'm still passionate about having this be my career and I'm excited at some of the prospects I have out there to do this. I will miss my friends, Crumbs cupcakes, taxis at 2am and this city that took such good care of me all these years very dearly. But I'll be back for many visits I hope!
